SpecialBicycles is a Dutch company with a number of close business relationships all over Asia.
We build bespoke bicycles on request; we have complete control of every aspect of production and will keep you updated throughout the process
We build Fixed Gear bikes, Transport bikes, Dutch style Opa and Oma bikes, Cargo bikes, Electric bikes, single speed bikes and much more!
SpecialBicycles is managed by Theo Lawant & Marco de Jong. Theo is based in Holland and is responsible for customer relations, communication, servicing and after sales. Marco is based in China and is responsible for product development, production control, product design, shipping, pricing and technical communication.
We have a dedicated team in our Dutch warehouse who manage servicing, spare parts, shipping, repairs and troubleshooting. We also have technical staff in various Asian countries who interface and manage localised production in these locations.
We build bicycles to our customer’s unique specifications, colour and design.
Our engineers will not only incorporate your designs but will also provide technical advice, support and work in partnership with you on all aspects of your design.
(Please be aware that we only undertake OEM productions on orders of 50 pieces or above!)

We currently produce bicycles for customers in Holland, Denmark, Germany, France, Sweden, UK, USA and Canada. We ship all over the world! Countries outside Europe are priced FOB or CIF, but for all European countries we price delivered on door to minimise shipment and import issues. We manage every aspect of the shipping process and deliver the bikes directly from our factory to your front door! This means you have a guaranteed price and margins are calculated accurately so no nasty surprises or hidden charges!
